Chris has more than 15 years of experience in asset and property management. During his career, he has been actively involved in the management of a variety of multifamily and commercial office portfolios representing more than 30,000 units with an aggregate value in excess of $2 billion. Chris’ clients rely on his insight and experience to ensure the financial performance of their assets. He has played a critical role in developing and implementing annual business plans and budgets, as well as performing loan workouts and modifications on their behalf.
Previously Chris served as Director of Asset Management for National Commercial Ventures in Los Angeles, where he supervised a management team that oversaw a national portfolio of multifamily assets.
Chris began his career in 1993 with the property management firm Realty & Mortgage Co. in Chicago. While there, he gained a breadth of knowledge in all aspects of property management.
A licensed California real estate broker, Mr. Heller holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture & Design from the University of Colorado.
John brings a wealth of experience in asset management and real estate finance to Wilshire West Advisors. As an Asset Manager for National Commercial Ventures (NCV) John managed one of the largest portfolios in the company with nearly 4,000 units located throughout California, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois, Tennessee and the Gulf Coast. During his time at NCV, John oversaw more than $30 million in renovation projects as well as providing support on more than $300 million in transactions. As an asset manager, John built relationships and worked closely with bankers, brokers, insurers, contractors and property managers to ensure a maximized return on each investment. As a trusted member of the NCV team, he was responsible for performing sensitivity scenarios and ad hoc analyses for a portfolio of more than 100 properties.
Prior to NCV, John worked at Pacific Capital Bancorp in the real estate finance department, where he gained valuable exposure to both residential and commercial lending.
